Ipod Shuffle 2nd Generation Case

8gb or 16 gb nano 4th gen. & Encoding Music?

My first iPod was the first generation nano with 1 gb only… I got it for free and it filled up quickly… I won a 2nd generation 1gb shuffle, I opened the case but never used the iPod… Both were free…

Then a week ago I got the 8gb ipod nano 4th generation. When I first got it, I was unsure of whether to get the 16 gb or not… but I thought hey… I still only have 1 gb… whatever.

Now I’m not so sure… My iPod is filling up too quickly and I’m unsure what to do if I run out of space… I’ve got another 1.5 gb of music in a week (itunes store and also CDs) and have plenty more in mind to get if I have time. What should I do when I run out? Should I trade my iPod for a 16 gb or something…? Or… and if so… how?

Also, how do you encode music to a lower bit rate?

THANKS
BTW

I only download music but they all have album art

well, you gotta plan out ur space. I dont buy music, but when i download, i have to check for the smallest size.
Check in ur iPod that says “other” space.
Delete some useless information like, composer of music, or album artist to get rid of that.
delete some songs that ur fed up with, or shows/movies/vids you are done watching.
None of these work? then sell ur iPod or trade in for the 16 gb

Edit: Ya do u really need all that album art? i mean its up to you.
