you can use an ipod shuffle portable speaker device?
We are looking to buy our 2 children (12 and 
iPod shuffle for Christmas, but you need to know is if they work with speaker devices or portable radio link, so you do not have to use the headset all the time when they want listen to your music.
The iPod shuffle has a small USB port, so you can not just connect it with just a docking device. (I reccomened buy a normal ipod) All the apple brand ® mesh radio devices have an additional connection that lets you play CD players and iPod shuffle it. for one. I bought a laptop and a regular iHome ihome, and both arrived with the connections. Hope this helps:)
