Iorgsoft release AVCHD.MTS converter for importing Panasonic HDC-TM80 to Mac
The SD card-based HDC-SD90 is the first of Panasonic’s new camcorders, gained a five-star rating thanks to its great image quality. The HDC-SD80 is the next model down. It’s even smaller, being almost as tiny as an airline-sized ginger ale, also records onto SD, SDHC or SDXC cards but has a significantly scaled-back specification.
Key features: The HD 80 Series offers 42x ultra-telephoto zooming in a super compact body, thanks to the Intelligent Zoom function. It also features HYBRID Optical Image Stabilizer for beautiful, blur-free zooming. The 33.7mm wide-angle fits more people into the frame than conventional models.
Ideal for shooting in small spaces or for capturing a subject together with the background. This powerful function senses the shooting conditions and automatically makes the settings and activates functions that will deliver optimal results. The Zoom Mic function is more powerful than ever before. It now includes a Wind Noise Canceller, which records while suppressing wind noise, and lets you clearly record only the target sound.
The good: The Panasonic HDC-TM80, SD80 and HS80 camcorders provide manual controls in a functional, if somewhat boring, design.
The bad: The sub-HD resolution sensor produces merely satisfactory video.
