Which type of case should i buy? Leather, rubber, silicone? i would prefer something not ugly..
Should i buy a screen protecter?
My friend has an ipod touch without a case and its fine is it really that important?

can somebody please explain more about the screen protector? what is it exactly?
I have a rubber case and it works amazingly. It has saved me from some pretty high falls. I have a screen protector too because just my car keys can break the screen. If you think you are very lucky you can take the chance and not buy them but it costs more to replace an ipod then to get it a screen protector and a case.
