Ipod Shuffle (2nd gen) listening in the car?

How can i listen to my Shuffle 2 in the car? All of the accessories I have seen are set up for the 1st version or require a tape deck which I don’t have, I only have a cd player. Please help. Thank you in advance!!!

As long as you have a headphone jack, you can listen to your music without a tape deck (this is true for any mp3 player, not just Ipods). All you have to do is go to Target/Walmart and get a wireless adapter – I think I paid $15 for mine.

You then plug the adapter into your ipod (where your headphones would usually go) and then tune your radio to a station that doesn’t come in (i.e. a fuzzy frequency). Then, you adjust the adapter to that same frequency and you are able to play your music. It depends on the wireless adapter – the one I have will only allow me to tune frequencies between 88.5 FM and 90.5 FM. All you have to do is match the frequencies on the radio and adapter – it’s pretty cool.

This also works for computers too – so let’s say that you want to watch a movie on your laptop but don’t have external speakers – all you have to do is plug the wireless converter into your computer and then tune the it to a fuzzy frequency.

Most adapters run on AAA batteries. Good luck! :)
