The 2007 Rabbit: Fun and Affordable
The 2007 Rabbit just like its predecessors that was sold in United States from 1974 through 1984 can be considered also as a true “driver’s car” –affordable and fun to drive.
The 2007 Rabbit is available in two and four door models which are also referred to by hatchback fanatics as three and five door models. Like a true Rabbit, the 2007 version is quick, agile, and great for short stopping distances and small turning spaces. In short this particular Rabbit is the perfect ride for squeezing through tight urban streets and fitting through small parking places. The 2007 Rabbit is also a stable open road cruiser.
The 2007 Rabbit is powered by a 2.5 L engine mated to a sophisticated suspension system. It is available in either five-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic Tiptronic transmission. But the most remarkable feature of the Rabbit is its affordable price.
The reintroduction of the Rabbit has relived some of the brand qualities of Volkswagen which has helped it to become the “hit” it is today — like its unparalleled German engineering, solid construction and quality auto parts like Volkswagen radiator hose and above all the combination of sporty design and high performance capabilities offered at an affordable price.
The starting price of the two-door Rabbit with five-speed manual transmission is $14,990.

The 2007 Rabbit is almost likened to its predecessors only that it is made even more fun to drive plus it has a large rear hatch located at the bottom of the passenger side where a “running Rabbit” and engine badge can be seen. The exterior of the 2007 Rabbit also reflects the original Rabbit design but interpreted in a more updated and modern way. Its crystal clear halogen headlamps and dual exhaust tips are added to enhance its aesthetic appeal.
The all new 2007 Rabbit is also available in new exterior colors such as the Tornado Red, Candy White and United Gray. The exterior panels are matched to the body-color upper bumpers and moldings, front grille, door handles, and mirror housings. The distinguishing trait of the two-door Rabbit is its black moldings.
