Problem in iphone 4 proximity sensor.?
My Uncle Just bought iphone 4 last week. It was runnig well till monday but then there has been some problem with its proximity sensor. Whenever u call the phones display must get off as it touches your ears or cheeks but the display does not turn off. He did all the settings he even formatted and hard reset it but still the problem remains.
It is very annoing as because of this problem, the mute button is pressed or the end call button is pressed. It is very difficult to use as he is a doctor and has to attend many important calls daily. It all started from tuesday, till then it was working fine.
Is there any way to solve it ? I seached many sites but no solution is found by me too. Is there anyone who can solve it Plzzz.
Did he update his iPhone 4 to the iOS 4.1 version, this update fix the proximity sensor. To do the update he has to connect his iPhone to a computer and do the update with iTunes.
