iPhone 4 turns black during a call and blinks?
Whenever I’m calling someone it turns black, or starts blinking and I usually can’t even end the call myself. I’ve heard it’s something with the proximity sensor. Even if it’s not next to my ear while a call it turns black. It’s really annoying and disfunctional.
How can I fix this?

In the front of the iPhone is an ambient light sensor. It is made to deactivate the screen when you place it to your ear during a call so you don’t accidentally push a button. Unfortunately, this cannot be deactivated (thank Apple for that). When you are done with the call and want to hang up, make sure you don’t put your hand or finger in front of the screen, and it should turn back on so you can hang up.
