What CAN be done in this situation (Serious answers, please!)?
For almost a year now, my boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend has been causing me some major grief. I’ve tried ignoring her but it has gotten to the point where it can’t be helped anymore. I know this sounds silly (because some of you may think this is just some stupid online drama), but she has literally stalked every MySpace page we have both made. We’ve both been through as many as THREE MySpace pages to get away from her.
She found out about my LiveJournal, so I put a tracker on it only to find out that she visits almost every day. From her home, iPhone, and even work place.
She goes on these tirades – calling me fat, ugly, everything you could think of.
Through out all of this, I took many screen shots of the things she’s said and all of her tracked visits.
I’m worried about my safety and privacy. I’m sick and tired of her antics and I want to be able to do something about it, if there is anything to do about it.
Cyberstalking can be defined as threatening behavior or unwanted advances directed at another using the Internet and other forms of online and computer communications
to include:
leaving improper messages on message boards or in guest books
Do a search to find out if your state has laws agains cyberstalking or what you can do there.
